After nearly 14 years with Los Rios, Chancellor Brian King is retiring. Please join friends, colleagues, and community partners for a send off befitting his career in Los Rios - filled with celebration and laughter, and directly benefiting Los Rios students. To celebrate Brian’s fandom of our local Sacramento Kings, please wear purple or your favorite Kings gear or jersey.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Los Rios Colleges Foundation Student Emergency Fund (SEF). The event will mark the culmination of a year-long fundraising campaign for the SEF, and will be punctuated with a special campaign announcement.
The Student Emergency Fund provides grants of up to $500 to Los Rios students who are involved in sudden and unexpected emergencies that threaten their ability to continue their education. These grants have no repayment obligation.
